Two rainy days

We've been luckier than much of the country lately. It's very humid some days, but not too hot so far. Temperatures have stayed between 75 and 85. Yesterday and today it's been raining. When Donald and Bear and Sadie come in from outside they always tell me that it's really buggy out there, so I stay in here. Yesterday we cut up a big pot of green beans and I canned them, 14 pints. Today I baked a sour cream bundt cake with cherry preserves inside and a loaf of zucchini bread. I'm afraid the cake won't be very good for us. It has a cup of butter,a cup of sour cream and almost two cups of sugar in it. The bread will be better for us, zucchini and walnuts and cinnamon and only one fourth cup of oil.
